Upgrades to GRIP Network this weekend

I will be replacing some of the radios on the main tower at Hope Point this weekend with new radios with better receive abilities in poor conditions. This upgraded has been planed for a couple months, and this weekend finally looks like both weather and time are cooperating.

As a result there will be some downtime on sunday as the radios are replaced.

As always, let me know if you have any questions!

    wow!
what a winter it was. thanks for keeping the system going. I checked my cabin recently and noticed that my cable line was on the ground so branches were flying there...a tree or two down too.
looking forward to the coming season of sun.

    Hi Sean,

Thanks for all your hard work over the winter. Krista and I will be around tomorrow working on various things. Feel free to pop over (we should up at the cabin around lunchtime).

I haven't been able to connect with the new antenna yet, but I've downloaded the manuals so I might tinker with it tomorrow. Our battery is really low right now - I had to run the generator last week to have enough juice to power the antenna.

Anyhoo, perhaps we'll see you. Good luck with those upgrades!

    Keith
